Also, why does cartoony Toothless from 2010 have better animation than “realistic” Toothless from 2025?! That scene where he leaps at Hiccup after being freed looks terrible! Why is he so floaty?? He must weigh at least a ton but he moves like he’s made of jello full of helium! Where’s the weight?? The impact???

I’m straight up offended they turned Hookfang into Generic Wyvern.

I went to see the live action httyd today and the theatre got struck by lightning and had to be evacuated.

Ironic.

I will say, from what I’ve seen I really love Astrid and Stormfly. (Sparkplug… ;P)

The scene with the Red Death looks magnificent.
