It's been year ago but hopefully you don't mind me asking about Laios X Kaka thing of yours?
First ask me thinks on my head canons, this one’s a doozy that started when I read and finished the manga + finally got around actually finishing the anime.
As I’m guessing you’re asking for my thoughts on the ship and not that one drawing I made forever ago that I might’ve lost when I got a new phone.
As the ship to me came about seeing as Laios as we all know is very autistic or at least in the way we all see him, and Kaka seems to me also as autistic coded or intended in the very little we get of both him and Kiki. As Kiki is usually a bigger focus. Compliment each other’s traits.
I could talk about how I see him but that’s for another time.
As Laios is very bombastic to a point with his love of all things monsters, and Kaka is a lot more reserved in his personal interests and thoughts naturally having a more monotone demeanor. So to me it comes off as parallel play where Laios can talk on and rant on his interests, while Kaka listens and comments.
As I’m a sucker for a good friends to lovers situation. Think Chilaios.
But to me it plays off more on the idea of two characters who when placed together can socialize off each other endlessly. As kaka isn’t emotionless merely isn’t very reflective of how he feels yet still shows a lot of signs of care for both his parents and sister. So sadly this is where him having very little screen time haunts me.
As we don’t know much fully of him but we do know he adores his family to bits. Staying with them after fall the of Lion if I remember right. So I think him and Laios have a lot go traits that could compliment each other had there been time to play off each other.
