Dawn’s Destinations: Grateful For this World of Women
Each of these #DawnsDestinations trips I do changes my life for the better. I go into them in work mode as producer, planner, host, curator and connector, and come out of them learning about myself, my fellow women and all we are, all we’ve overcome,all we want, and all we can be. And, I just think to myself, “How GRATEFUL am I to have created this work - this WORLD - where we get to do this and I get to KNOW them?” A world - comprised of travel and food and fellowship and adventure and adversity and laughing and crying and intimacy and friendship and wine and women - who make me want to not only be a better woman but the best woman I can be. VIP Holiday Celebration as BOLD Beverly Hills Welcomes Glowing Guest List
Last night, I co-hosted a beautiful VIP holiday celebration at @RalphLauren with the City of Beverly Hills @CityBH, @RodeoDrive and the @RodeoDrive Committee. Truth talk: I actually just stopped to re-read that sentence after I wrote it because it actually sounded like a fairy tale for this girl from Texas with big California Dreams. Wow.
Among the guests were a who’s who (scroll on through to see) of both Beverly Hills leadership and the influencer and entertainment space, including Mayor @GoldJmd, Dani Song @songdani, @StyleWeekender, @StarIsBornMovie Grammy-nominated album producer Ben Rice (my cousin!), @MissMooreStyle, @StuartBrazell, @PerkensBienAime, @KatWesterman, @TheDiningDolls, @StylistSalvador @HungryEmpire and many more.
We toasted with a little bubbly and enjoyed some delicious @LaDureeUS macarons before we strolled into the festivities of #BOLDbh and experienced the first-ever AR ap on Rodeo as well as the Peace Wall where we all shared the word “Peace” in our native language. (Of course, I wrote...”Peace, y’all.”)
After our #BOLDbh Friday night, we kept the festivities going late night in Beverly Hills at @ThePeninsulaBH, kicking off @NickYedinak’s 40th birthday.
What a beautiful way to sail into the holidays! Have I said how much I love and appreciate this community? All the gratitude, all the gratitude...once I stop pinching myself.

Friends and Friends and Food and Wine, LA we Love You
What’s that you say? Your friends and you just don’t know where to hang on this fine Saturday night? Well, MY friends and I might just have an idea for you. Join us down on Rodeo Drive for the next-to-last Saturday of #BOLDbh tonight!🌸🌷 In addition to the photo box installation you see here (where we had way too much fun on Thursday after my #LAFoodwine kickoff event), we’ve also got plenty of photo opps thanks to some spectacular 3D chalk art on the street as well as @DJfutureproof rocking Rodeo tonight. As for me, I’ll be enjoying a healthy smorgasbord of the above as well as this monogramming moment I’ve heard so much about...and, of course, the food trucks will probably be calling my name for dinner, naturally.
