Lais’ posed as a merchant as she traveled Norad, and this was the outfit she wore. Despite the fact that she was supposed to be “taking over the world,” she actually made quite a few sales and became adept at tailoring the monster materials she gathered throughout her travels. She no longer dons her Eastern wardrobe very often, but she still occasionally collects materials as she trains for her conquest.
For the first one, Lais goes big because going home isn’t in her vocabulary.
Where did she come from, and why is she so jealous of plants? >8V (Took too much of Gael's attention away from her, perhaps? >u>)
Lais originated in the Eastern Nation as a child of the Kaligari clan, a people who’s history is surrounded by their demonic heritage. I’ll go into details on that later, though. Since her ancestors held mixed blood with the Amaranthine demons, she has exceptional wind and water magic and very high magical resistance. In her demonic form, her speed and attack speed are both increased tremendously, and should she choose, she could most likely destroy an entire village, although it would take quite a bit of energy.
Arch-sorceress’ and arch-sorcerers of the clan are denoted by status. The eldest member of the generation is given the right to hold this title, and therefore is required to head towards a position of chaos and leadership. Lais was not originally interested in this goal, but her ambition has increased over time thanks to a certain... falling out.
She doesn’t particularly dislike plants, but her jealousy is a powerful one. She held a very... strong... interest in Gael for a very long time, and when she finally accepted the fact that it was a one-sided, she converted her disappointment into anger and lashed out at both him and the recipients of his affection.
