A last second shot attempt by Lake Weir High School fell short and so did the goal of beating Gainesville High School in District 7A-4 basketball semis. It took the Gainesville Hurricanes an overtime, but they beat the Lake Weir Hurricanes 68-65, Wednesday, February 13, 2019.
