No, I definitely wouldn’t be a soldier in the slightest BUT you’d get me as a medic or a military psychologist.

But I just imagine myself sitting on a leather sofa, bright eyed and bushy tailed watching as Capt Price forces Ghost into my office because he won’t shut up about dying and we’re all mandated reporters here.

Ghost would make my job a living nightmare but, in accordance to ACA Code of Ethics circa 2014, there’s not much I can do. (I mean, I could refer out but ain’t no one gonna take him lmao)

Johnny doesn’t let just anyone see his journal. Absolutely no one! But you? You’re his everything of course you can see it. He gives you a warning about the darker things he’s written and see in there. Gives you like a heads up or like a trigger warning type of heads up.

You run your fingers over each page and you’re in awe of his drawings and you can’t help but look over them over and over again.

You’re his partner. And I don’t mean on the battlefield or partner in crime. You’re his love. His everything.

And of course you signed your name in delicate cursive on one of the pages ❤️
