I wouldn’t let you get to the safety of your barn, but a little chase is good, give you a little hope before I clamp my jaws around your neck. 😈

Tire me out a little, herding me further away from my safe pasture, so when you finally grab me I can only kick and bleat so much, lost and tired, giving in to your teeth and claws because you promise you’ll take me back to my barn once you’re all done (you wont)
