@lambshriek said: i was curious what would happen.
“have ya ever heard of the saying: curiosity killed the cat before?” she would know. she's plunged the knife straight through its chest before. and the way she feels clarice's eyes boring into her skull, sienna surmises she may have to do it again. not right now. her lab has seen far more than its recommended blood dosage for the year, but if the cat sticks its nose someplace it shouldn't, the knife may have to come back out.
there's both invitation and threat in sienna's smile, hands resting themselves flatly against the workstation she leans against. her right brow raises, “agent starling, i'm gonna speak frankly since yer in my lab.” hickory eyes settle gazing into the others muted blue ones, her tongue clicking at the top of her mouth a singular time. “something tells me if you were actually curious, you woulda' sent me an email, maybe called, something. but instead— yer here. and i know yer not here to ask how a spectrophotometry works.”
this isn't satisfying. what would be satisfying is walking over to her purse, retrieving her switchblade, and watching all the blood drain from clarice's pale throat. her eyes linger on the spot she'd like to slice far too long. (too long for a predator trying to catch their prey. you'll scare her off.) clearing her own throat, sienna tilts her head to the side. this time, she allows her own expression to become painted in curiosity. irony at its finest.
“so... why are ya here?”
