Perfect weekend to start finding all 50 unique wave sculptures around the city, an installation hosted by @LaMer 🌊 In honor of World Oceans Day, the #LaMerWaveWalk is an art trail that showcases the beauty of the sea and inspires the need for its protection (100% of the auction profits from these pieces will be benefitting the La Mer Blue Heart Oceans Fund) 🐬 Since the sea is basically my second home, I couldn't more excited about La Mer's initiative to raise awareness about the importance of ocean conservation #lamerinfluencer #nyc (at Cooper Square)

Probably my favourite freelance sculpting object ever. This giant skull wave called Human Tide, was designed by the legend that is Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones based on his iconic skull ring, for the Project Zero and La Mer Wave Walk sculpture trail in New York 2017. I did the clay shaping at 3deye. I’ll never stop reposting this job. My favourite sculpture project by a country mile. It’s called the Octopus Wave and it was designed by Slash from Guns and Roses (honestly) for the La Mer and Project Zero Wave Walk sculpture trail in New York. 3 few years ago I was freelancing as a sculptor at 3deye studio and got the chance to sculpt in clay three versions of a Rolling Wave sculpture for this ocean conservation project. The waves were 300, 700 and 1200 mm in diameter but had to be identical in detail. Quite tricky. After my clay tinkering was done the sculptures were handed over to the GRP dept at 3deye for moulding and casting. 30+ sculptures were cast and painted using designs from celebrities. It was a huge team project. I’ve just realised the connection between the Rolling Wave sculpture itself and the people who run Project Zero, the directors are children of the Rolling Stones.
