#lamia bitty compatibility

Heyy i have like, 2 chains and one of every other bitty say for the wispuffs(both lamia and field) and I've been thinking of adopting again, whats the best bitty for a massive household? I have a lot of bitties and they all get their own private spaces no matter the size so if they need space they can easily have it!

*I thought it would be easier to list each lamia’s preference since the personalities of the other bitties is a huge factor!

Papython (UT!Papyrus): loves a large family regardless of bitty type; hugs for everyone!

Corny (UT!Sans): doesn't mind a big family, more people to listen to his jokes!

Krait (Gaster): likes other quiet bitties, may be uncomfortable with too many loud or rambunctious bitties

FireRing (Grillby): enjoys the company of a large family but may get irritated by rude or disrespectful behavior

Honey Bo (US!Papyrus): doesn't enjoy a large bitty family, would need a very quiet and private nesting space to retreat to

Pygmy (US!Sans): more bitties = more friends; may annoy or overwhelm other bitties with his high energy level

King (UF!Papyrus): loves a large family especially if he can have a leadership or protector role

Coral (UF!Sans): easily stressed out with too many other bitties around; fears being overlooked or having his "treasures" stolen

Chain (SF!Papyrus): satisfied to be an only bitty but doesn't mind a big family; specific preference varies by Chain

Mamba (SF!Sans): prone to jealousy and demands lots of attention; may not get along well with other bitty types

Would a house with a Krait, FireRing, Coral, and Pygmy work well? I know the Coral and Pygmy technically aren't amazing with Kraits, but I figured a Krait would be happy with a FireRing.

I'm asking because a book I'm writing is going to have the main character adopt these four bitties, and maybe others a lot further down the line, but since these will be the main four for a long while, I was hoping to see if it would be a good idea, and if you had any ideas what these four living together would be like.

*As with every mismatched family, there might be a few issues, but I think with a caring adopter and enough space to be away from each other when they need it, those four could make the situation work.

*The Krait is shy, so he'll want to spend most of his time either with you or with the FireRing. Pygmies are too energetic, and Corals are too loud and demanding for a Krait's comfort. He will get used to them over time. If a Krait is uncomfortable around a bitty, he will avoid that bitty, but he won't be rude or unfriendly to them.

*FireRings enjoy being those who appreciate their warmth. FireRings naturally gravitate towards Kraits, but just like Kraits, tend to avoid bitties who are too loud or energetic. A FireRing wouldn't mind if the Coral needed snuggles as long as the Coral wasn't pushy about it. A FireRing might also play with a Pygmy briefly, but he'll get tired long before the Pygmy does.

*A Pygmy is just happy to have a home with built-in friends. He'll always be kind and friendly to them but man, he has so. Much. Energy.

*The Coral is going to be jealous of the closeness between the FireRing and the Krait and may act out (yell) for attention or deliberately come over and insert himself into cuddle sessions. The Coral will also need a safe place to keep his treasures. He'll be worried that the Pygmy might take them or knock them over when he isn't around. The Coral will need the most attention and reassurance in this situation.

Hello! Do individual lamias have preference when it comes to a human? Things like soul type, gender, etc?

*Each lamia type has certain preferred personality types. You can check the lamia bitty bios to find out what types of personalities fit best with them. That said, each lamia is an individual, and because of this, they do have individual tastes. These preferences really only apply to personalities though. Just like with people, we just don’t mesh with certain people with meet. It happens. Thankfully, there is a bitty for every type of person!

*As far as SOUL types and genders/sexualities go, the lamias are very open. Your gender, sexuality, and SOUL type are things you just...are? It wouldn’t make sense to a lamia to exclude someone because of gender, sexuality, or SOUL trait. Besides, just because your primary SOUL trait isn’t Kindness doesn’t mean that you aren’t Kind.

*In short, everyone is a unique individual. We are all our own people. The lamias are the same way. Sure, they have certain traits due to their types, but every lamia is his own bitty. This means that no matter who you are, we can always find a lamia who is right for you.

how do the sans lamias feel about toriel bitties? i have a corny and wanted to know how well he'd get along with a toriel type

*Corny bittybones love Toriel types! A Corny will instantly adore anyone who will listen to his jokes and encourage or join in on his pranks! Having a Toriel bitty will mean more bad puns and knock-knock jokes, so adopters beware! I do recommend this duo though if the Corny has to be home alone for extended periods of time. A Toriel bitty would provide excellent companionship for a Corny.

Is is possible for Kings and Mambas get along with eachother? I would love to adopt them but I'm not sure it would work. ~Miss Noodle

*It can actually be pretty difficult adopting a Mamba with any other lamia bitty besides a Chain because of the amount of attention that a Mamba requires. That said, there are ways to handle adopting a Mamba if you want to have other lamias or bittybones or already have other lamias or bittybones.

*If you want to adopt a Mamba and intend to adopt other bittybones as well, I recommend adopting the Mamba first. Let the Mamba get established in the home, and then bring in the other bittybones. This allows the Mamba to feel secure in his place in the home and gives him a sense of importance because he was there first.

*If you already have bittybones and want to add a Mamba to the family, I suggest having a very extravagant welcoming party where the Mamba is the center of attention. This makes him feel like his adoption is special and that he is a Very Important Member of the family.

*With a Mamba and a King, it will be very important to make sure that you give them each a separate time for personal attention. Kings will want some one-on-one time with you to show off or read books or just talk, and a Mamba will want to interrupt those times. By giving them each an allotted personal time, you can (mostly) avoid this problem.

Would an espresso bitty and a honeybo bitty make good friends?

*I think they would be very compatible with each other! A Honey Bo prefers quieter company like an Espresso. In return, Honey Bo is very laidback and a good listener, which I think an Espresso would appreciate. The lamias could even enjoy gaming together since winning is less important than having fun to a Honey Bo. If the Espresso beat him at the game, he would be genuinely happy for his friend.

Are there any Mambas that are friends with a Papython or Honey Bo?

*It isn’t that common to see a Mamba and a Papython or Honey Bo who are friends. This does not mean that it isn’t possible; it just isn’t as likely as, say, a Papython and a Krait or a Mamba and a Chain. There are just some issues that affect their overall compatibility:

*Mambas actually like hard-working, sweet-natured Papythons. A Papython will always compliment a Mamba when he passes by, and the Mambas love it. Unfortunately, Papythons just aren’t as comfortable with Mambas. Mambas are loud and have big attitudes to go with their big egos. This can be a bit overwhelming to a Papython. Papythons also have reservations about a mamba’s bloodthirsty treatment of his hunting toys. They clean up a lot of disembodied fluff.

*Mambas  really don’t care much for Honey Bos because they are L A Z Y and R E C L U S I V E. Honey Bos tend to dislike Mambas because they are L O U D and B O S S Y. It would be more likely to see a Papython befriending a Mamba than a Honey Bo.

goodness I love these little guys! I gotta ask though what bitties do they get along with? like would a chain bitty get along fine with a softy or pappy bitty?

Dislikes: rude bitties, aggressive bitties 

Can get along with most bitty types.

Corny (UT!Sans): 

Likes: funny bitties, affectionate bitties, fire-type bitties

Dislikes: bossy bitties, loud bitties

Can get along with most bitty types

Krait (Gaster):

Likes: quiet bitties, gentle bitties, protective bitties

Dislikes: loud bitties, aggressive bitties

May become frightened of loud or aggressive bitties

Honey Bo (US!Papyrus):

Likes: any bitty that respects his personal space, musical bitties

Dislikes: bitties that invade personal space

May have difficulty with child bitties

Pygmy (US!Sans):

Likes: playful bitties, energetic bitties, child bitties
