-walks in holding a blanket bundle, a Pygmy lamia inside- I found him under my car in the parking lot of my job today. It’s very hot and I think he was trying to escape the sun, his scales are sorta burnt on his belly. He seems docile, but I think the heat may have caused brain damage. He speaks in wordless babble and if put down will slither in a small circle forever. I gave him lots of water and air conditioning, but this is serious. I’ve been calling him Halo, because of the circles...
Oh geeze, that sounds like pretty severe heat stroke. I can provide emergency first aid, but I’ll have to contact @vex-bittys for proper care, they’ve got a better equipped facility for this.
Thank you for getting this little guy to help so quickly, the Crew and I will take it from here.

“-and he’s still trying to do that circling thing, I think he’s trying to keep moving to get some breeze going and he’s too disoriented to really listen to me-”
Cell talked rapid fire on their cellphone, moving quickly around their kitchen as they prepped a large tupperware to help the overheated Pygmy cool down. Thankfully, it had only taken two quick web searches to find the information they needed, and the tupperware was soon lined with a large damp dishtowel with ice cubes tucked into the folds to keep it cool. They had also emptied a plant mister, refilling it with room temperature water, and found a small desk fan they never really used anymore.
It was unsettling to scoop up such a squirmy little lamia and feel those usually slightly cool scales almost sort of toasty. He’d definitely scorched his belly scales on the hot asphalt and once he calmed down a bit, Cell was going to see if Halim might be able to take a moment to do some minor healing to help deal with the pain, but for right now, Halo the Pygmy was going into the tupperware to cool down to a safer internal temperature.
Halo continued to slither in lopsided circles for several moments, eyelights looking fuzzy and dazed as he babbled nonsense, but as Cell watched anxiously, he started to slow down until he finally came to a wobbly stop. A soft sort of cooing, hissing noise, and the Pygmy slumped down onto the cool damp towel, tiny hands kneading the terry cloth as he sprawled out as much as he could atop the material slowly sapping heat from his body.
“…sssssfeeeelsssgooood…”

So I’m currently in love with the Lamia bitties from @vex-bittys But I wanted to draw a different AU. I love Outertale so I thought I’d give it a shot. I was reminded how much easier to draw Sans is than Papyrus but... ya know.... The Papyrus lamia is a type of snake known as a Blue Racer. The Sans lamia is a snake called a Sunbeam snake. I thought they were appropriate. :3
Bitty life =)))
Here are some parts of how the bitties I posted a few days ago act XD
Kale always like to bully Malin thing that isn't accepted by Blink while Eden (who was accidentally harmed by a table that Kale pushed) watch together with "me" as they are arguing again

To The Anon That Sent The Bag Ask
I am not answering your ask. I am not giving you the satisfaction of bringing such horror and gore to this blog, I will NOT have this Sanctuary be violated by your want to fear monger and terrorize. I AM, however, blocking the hell out of you so you never, ever return to this inbox.
The Dream Sans lamia you so graciously left alive is being treated in the medbay. He’s going to be treated and fed and cared for with respect for the trauma you decided he needed to endure. He WILL heal, he WILL get better, he WILL find peace and happiness.
And YOU will never get to mess with him or any of the bitties here at MY Sanctuary EVER AGAIN.
Figuring Out Names
With the new nurse Papython joining the crew thanks to the wonderful @vex-bittys, I’m having to puzzle out a good name for our newest and probably most needed addition to the sanctuary.
Using BehindTheName.Com, I’ve come across a few names that I personally think are quite good for a fellow as brilliant and kind as a magnificent Papython:
Asa - A Hebrew name meaning healer. Halim - An Arabic name meaning patient or tolerant, a variant of which is considered one of the names of Allah in Islamic tradition. Rahim - Another Arabic name, this one meaning kind or compassionate, a variant of which is also considered one of the names of Allah. Pryderi - A Welsh name meaning care.
I like all of them, though I’m leaning toward Pryderi because I have a huge weakness for Welsh/Scottish names, I just really like the way they sound when spoken aloud. Feel free to express an opinion or two, I’m really bad at making decisions like this!
Edit (07-13-19): Thanks to some notecards and help from a roommate, our lovely nurse Papython shall be known henceforth as Halim! As far as I know, it’s pronounced hah-leem, if anyone with actual language knowledge would like to correct me, please send me an ask or leave a comment.
~ As quick as it was spotted, it was gone. A black blur left a package, actually seemingly gently placed down. The box was open, and something shuffled inside it, hissing. When looked at, it was a small lamia, a Cross variety, only about seven inches from the top of his skull to the end of his tail. He was scared, malnourished, and any advance towards him led to him cowering, covering his stomach/untouchable area and hissing, "Black wolf protected. Nnno hurt.." ~
“Oh my…”
Cell hesitated in the doorway, dark eyes saddened as they looked down at the tiny shaking bitty, then very slowly lowered down to the ground, first to their knees, then folding down onto their stomach until they were just barely able to peek over the edge of the box at the shivering lamia. They didn’t dare get any closer, not wanting to scare the little one any further, but they didn’t want to leave him alone…
“The hell’re you- Oh.”
Perched on the windowsill closest to the door, Ed leaned around the doorjamb, peering out at the battered box that Cell was hunkered down beside. He frowned, looking between the human and the box, then huffed before shortcutting, appearing atop Cell’s head so he could get a better look into the box. A low whistle escaped his teeth, and he moved to sit down, booted feet dangling in Cell’s face.
“Well. Cross lamia. You’re a helluva rarity. Ain’t ever seen one’a you in person.”
Cell lightly blew out a breath, causing the Edgy to swing his legs up a moment to avoid the tickling feeling. He gave them a faintly irritated look, getting a small smile in return, before refocusing on the lamia.
“You got a name?”
Silence for a long moment, then a mumble. Ed leaned forward slightly, removing a hand from his pocket to cup around his non-existent ear.
“What was that? Can’t hear ya if y’mumble.”
“...bobbin.”
As he spoke, the little lamia ducked his head, wavering in place. Ed made a small noise in the back of his throat Cell recognized from the times they’d seen him witness Sunny or Al do something extraordinarily cute, and they grinned as they imagined his cheekbones starting to flush with magic. Rough and tough Edgy had the BIGGEST soft spot for cute.
“Well. Nice t’meetchya, Bobbin. I’m Ed, this dork I’m sittin’ on is Cell. Y’wanna come inside? S’warmer, an’ I bet we can bother Bahadur into makin’ some hot chocolate.”
“...chocolate?”
Gottem. Ed smiled, nodding as he made a small gesture with his free hand, eyeligths flickering as he used his magic to slightly levitate the box so he could slowly turn it on its side, allowing the lamia to come out on his own. A shortcut, and the Edgy appeared in front of Cell’s face, blocking them from the lamia’s view and hiding the human’s brilliant smile.
“Yeah, good stuff with extra marshmallows in.”
He offered his hand, purposefully ignoring the faint green glow that was beginning to shine from the human’s magic aura, their Kind SOUL leaking out the edges from their joy. It took a couple moments, but Bobbin finally reached out, taking the offered hand.
“Chocolate.”
“All you can eat.”

Also, thank you @stars-with-citrus for helping me figure out a name for the Cross Lamia, I’ve got too many bitties running around without names and I don’t like not being able to name them since I can’t ask them what they like.
