I'm crying laughing at the idea of the xiaolongbao triplets being tiny bath fiends? They're getting multiple baths daily? convincing various family members that they haven't been bathed yet to get another soak? the only thing that stops them is the fact that they're getting all scaly from all the baths and then some pointed questions about their habits.

A-Lan, giving the baos their first daily bath: A-Fang spends so much time looking after the girls and keeping house. If I take care of the baos' baths, that's one chore he doesn't have to worry about.

Lan Fang, giving the baos their second daily bath: A-Lan is so busy with work and A-Fen's (eldest daughter) education. I'd better make sure the triplets get their daily bath right after lunch so that A-Lan doesn't have to worry about that at bedtime.

Wangxian, babysitting their chaos granddaughters in the afternoon so that Lan Fang can do chores without being disturbed: A-Lan and Lan are working themselves into the ground. We have the girls late in the day anyway, so we might as well give them their bath early so that they'll have dinner and go to bed without a fuss after they get home.

Shuifang and Wangxian, after rushing the baos to the infirmary for skin cream and finding out that they've been getting twenty-one baths each week by duping their parents and grandparents:

Holiday Celebration!

I’m Really glad I managed to finish this one on time! I’ve been wanting to do a Christmas/holiday picture for a while and I just managed to do it this year! Happy Holidays to ya’ll! I know I haven’t posted here in a while. Things have been stressful.  But now it’s time for fun and celebration!

one of wwx's "bao-friendly science classes" is making fruit popsicles with the baos? mix fruit juice + fruit pieces in little molds, add sticks, and freeze with talismans! It's very good for cooling off in the summer. Most of the baos love both the process and the resulting sweet treats, but Fang-bao is a little skeptical of foods produced through questionable processes.

A-Lan, trying to scare him: We demonic-cultivated the life out of all these fruits, and now they're dead and cold and we're eating their bones 😔

LAN fang is listening to 3yo lan heyun talk to himself as he preps wwx’s paper worm present and desperately trying not to laugh? Lan heyun is talking to his stuffed toy about how xiao-yeye loves plants and gardening, so must like worms? And how yeye will have Special Worm Friends to stay with him all the time? It’s a heartfelt gift.

Shuifang are honestly following in wangxian's footsteps romantically? Disaster couple has severe communication issues then eventually settle down and acquire many children?

Wei Wuxian, stressed dad: Lan Zhan, I know we went through a war and then sixteen years of separation, but I don't remember us having this many misunderstandings...

So lan-bao freaks out when she finds out that she's going to be a jiejie in a few months. How does shuifang bao 1 react when she finds out that her parents have acquired THREE new meimeis for her all at once and they're already in the house? Hopefully better than her mum, or wen ning is going to have a very upset toddler at his door.

Her reaction is exactly the opposite of her mother's -- she gets too possessive of the new baby baos. She's monopolizing the bottles at feeding time (what do you mean she only has two hands, dad?! She can hold the third bottle with her feet!) and insisting that she will get up with the babies when they cry at night, not mama! Shuifang are at their wits' end.

Did Wei Shuilan ever end up cultivating a golden core? Since she only seems to use resentful energy, to the horror of poor Lan Fang XD

She does cultivate a golden core! Unfortunately, Lan Fang is afflicted with Lan Adherence to Rules and Lan Obsession With the Love of One's Life and also Lan Denial (for the first few years of their acquaintance) so he is disproportionately affected by every display of resentful cultivation. :D
