Production on The Drop took the crew down to Dallas, Texas for the Lights All Night Festival. This 3-day festival featured more than 60 DJs and EDM artists on four stages including Avicii, Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Bassnectar, Diplo & Axwell.
We interviewed fellow Canadians Keys N Krates who have a unique sound featuring live instrumentation blended with raw samples and Zeds Dead whose dubstep platform is not bound by genre. We also interviewed Krewella, 3LAU, Archnemesis, two-time Grammy award winning song producer/artist/DJ duo Play-N-Skillz.
As we talked with this diverse group of artists, it became clear that their inspiration and influences are as varied as their musical styles - and that's what keeps the EDM space creative and innovative.
