The concept of Edward being revealed as the G3’s leader. HOWEVER instead of being happy to see him, Lance is just extremely upset about this and completely unhinges himself to the point he’s cussing him out and starts hitting him out of pure rage as Ilana and Octus try to pull him away, until it hits him that the trauma he went through because of his father’s presumed death was for basically nothing and he just breaks down into sobs, I LOVE ANGST I LOVE ANGST EHEHWHAUAHAHAGA

growing apart

more under the cut!

the idea of them being childhood friends just makes SENSE. thinking back to when they were kids, i can see them being close and then after lance's father disappears, slowly grow apart. lance goes to military school and ilana has her princess duties to attend to. without the connection of their fathers and the changes in lance's outlook on life it would be natural for them to drift apart... only to be brought back together after galaluna has fallen.
