BANG BANG BANG- Hewie(left) and Dr. Gel. E Been(Right) enters with big and loud sound!
Birthday Gift-esq Commission art for @lancecharleson! Thank you very much for your business and please keep the Commissions Comin’!
No problem man! I’ve been on the down low too recently, life’s been busy for me so I tend to only update late at night. I want to try to stream again at some point but OBS started acting up after the Windows 10 Fall Creator’s Update (aka we’re gonna add some new features but also screw everything else up).
@lance-arts‘ character Hewie since it’s his birthday (almost)!
Nothing flashy since I’m still stuck in an art/skill block but he’s a fun dude to draw

In terms of constructive criticism, I'd say add a short description of what the freak cards do. Also today I underestimate how useful Mini-Scruffy is. I didn't know that you could press the action button again to stop MS from attacking.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the real game I plan on having short descriptions for each Custom Move and card--and yeah, Mini-Scruffy’s actually supposed to be one of Tikiman’s moves, since it’s more complex but more rewarding. It won’t be Mini-Scruffy anymore so I’ll find a different role for him.
The Magic Cards are actually supposed to be in limited quantity, and you can buy them with the coins you earn. In the Teaser Demo I just let you select them to mess around with their effects. I was thinking of the e-Reader cards in Super Mario Advance 4 as well as my friends’ love of, as Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged calls them, “children’s card games” like Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, Vanguard, etc., so they’re cards that help you with weird effects, but you get the sense of collecting and earning them like real cards.
Ok, I have to ask: At what issue do these comics finally start getting gud again?
I remember liking the comics in the 100s a lot as a kid. I think maybe things start to get better after the Sonic Adventure adaptation (issue 82 onwards)? But really, I have no idea how well those story arcs hold up, I haven’t read them since I was 9
All I know is that Penders didn’t quit until issue 160
And god…we haven’t even gotten to the parts where the art starts to get super inconsistent. We haven’t even gotten to Ron Lim. Or any of the stories with Mammoth Mogul in them, or Monkey Khan, or Julie-Su, or
God we haven’t even gotten to the Knuckles series yet, that’s 32 issues long
I have so many of these comics left to read…
