Edgy, brooding, and greedy...for more saving
Lance Barner was only a child to witness the end of the war and the last he saw of Captain-Daylight in his prime, so when he heard of the same hero becoming a protector to the city, Lance used his fear as determination to become the greatest superhero with little to offer! He COULD have borrowed money from his now absent father to start his path, but then that wouldn't be fair to him and thus set out to become a millionaire on his own...and he does. With a 'magical' lance to help fight villains, skills that can be pulled off in smooth/graceful dancing performances, and has advanced technology further and further...yet he's still not satisfied with the progress and always keeps saving lives as well as further human progress. For example: Moon labs? Done. Public space travel? Done. Man on mars? Done. Mars labs? Done. Mars cities? Done. DEEP space travel? ...you get the idea, otherwise this would be going on forever.
Lanced-Moonlight has brown hair and sapphire eyes that would glow in the moonlight; by day he is throwing money at options to better the city and humanity in general while he patrols at night when Captain-Daylight can't do it because of his late night radio show/podcast. He's the shortest of the trio, but still an average 5 foot 10 so he's not all that short. His costume is mostly a light blue, light gloves and shoes in dark blue, and a white symbol on his chest to complete the look. All in all, he stands by his father's word of heroism and will take down bad guys no matter what with the exception to never kill as that will make him no better...such was a lesson that his father had to learn the hard way; when the black and white world was looking very grey as he took a closer look!
And there you have it; the limitless measures of saving lives and exploring heroism in terms of limits in the work of justice of the 1980s. Plus the cameo of the goody-two-shoes hero that saw dark repercussions in certain solutions of the 1970s, Colonel-Midnight; the very reason heroes like Captain-Daylight see good and evil differently. Speaking of which, guess who's next on the list? So next up will be the greatest hero that ever lived...though not always, but until then everybody, keep the sun shining!
