[However, everyone only gets a very brief warning in the form of a spurt of blood from the King's chest before a behemoth monster bursts free -- it somewhat resembles a lion and a wolf, but its mane is more of a mohawk, and it has two forward-facing horns protuding from its head. Its tail resemble's a dragon's with sharp, giant fin, and it is at least three times taller than all of them. It lunges at the
closest person -- Latula.]

[The tail is yanked, but it whips around in retaliation, and when Kanaya charges it, it turns its head to breathe a huge plume of fire at her.]

LATULA: *she takes advantage of the distraction to scamper away, panting.*
ARANEA: *Thankfully her sword is stored in her sylladex for some reason, so she whips that thing out.*
CCA: *is just standing there, staring in disbelief, gutair in hands, mouth wide open, being so so helpful*
EQUIUS: D --> *He digs in his heels and yanks HARD to pull it away*
CALIBORN: FuCK! NO! *BULLETS INTENSIFY.*
KANAYA: *there's no way to shield herself from that or run very far and is unfortunately assaield by SICK FIRES*

FEFERI: KANAYA!!!! *immediately she leaps into the air to fall down with her trident aimed at the beast*
[The beast is pulled by the STRENGTH of its attacker, but its tail manages to whap an oncoming John.]
LATULA: *wants to ride into battle, but at this point, entering the fray would only get in the way. frustrated, she tries to think STRATEGICALLY.*
ARANEA: *Sprints over to Cronus, captchalogues his guitar and gives him a replica of her sword.* 8E USEFUL AMPORA!
KANAYA: *falls back and flails, trying to smother the flames that caught her clothing and SKIN OW*
EQUIUS: D --> *Pulls the beast close enough to jump onto its back and make it's way to a head*
JOHN: SHIT-! *he's effectively thrown across the room because of this, falling on his back. there is an ugly thud*

[Feferi ends up stabbing Equius from the wild bucking. Good show old sport.]

[The beast is stabbed by Equius' trident attack, but it gives one more angry buck and finally launches him away. Pchoooo!]
CALIBORN: *time to change his stategy and switches to sceptre mode, jumping into the fray to club the thing in the face after it gets stabbed in the snoot.*
KANAYA: *After a bit, the pain melts away and she coughs one last time before sitting up. No one pay attention to my ruined clothes* Thank You *huffs, and waves a hand* Lets Get Back In There
JOHN: *once kanaya seems to be getting the treatment she needs, he gets up to try and fight again. he goes for the beast, hammer in hand.* *take two!*
ARANEA: *Helps her up* Yes, let's.
MEENAH: *swooshes over towards the mouth before spiralling away because woah fuck bullets*
[The beast slings its head in an attempt to impale Caliborn on one of its horns.]
EQUIUS: D --> *He hits the ground with a STRONG thud, b100 b100d dripping from his wounds. But he jumps up angrier than ever and sprints at the beast*
KANAYA: *accepts the help and gets to her feet, looking around for her weapon and finding it a few paces away, in lipstick form. Sylphs chaaaaaarge! Or something*

FEFERI: *Feferi picks her own self back up and growls, peering around, before running back over to the fray*

[The beast lowers its head and Equius slides away, but when it's raised again, it seems to peer around with confusion before snorting, then beginning to pace. Almost as if it's blind.]

ARANEA: *Calmly looks up at Meenah, calmly thinking of ways to calmly tell her to calmly warn her ahead of time the next time she calmly sapped her powers.*

[The beast becomes increasingly more distraught, snorting and twisting in circles, stamping the ground. Eventually it lets out an anguished cry as the bullet wounds it received begin to gush blood.]
