Part 2 This district is an #important aspect of the neighborhood's character and aesthetic and it epitomizes "Brownstone Brooklyn". Today, Bedford Stuyvesant's #Landmarked area includes a significant expansion of the original district's 1971 boundaries, including the Alice & Agate Court Historic District. We are asking all residents to come out and enjoy this wonderful day of #jazzmusic music, DJ, and a variety Good food (food truck), Children's Village, and much more in Fulton Park and Chauncey Street. We appreciate any #support and assistance provided to help with this fantastic preservation first-ever, 50 Years of Designation Event within our community. The event is on September 18th & 19th (Walking Tour), 2021. It will honor the leaders who supported the preservation effort and highlight the Legacy leaders who are still thriving in Bedford Stuyvesant. The event is planned by members of the CB3 Landmarks and Preservation Committee and the Bed Stuy Preservation Coalition. The Coalition going forward will serve the entire community and will help to further advocate for Preservation throughout the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood. Membership is open to all community members. The Coalition highlights the importance of Landmarking other proposed districts in our community, sharing resources available for property owners and our small businesses.
