i need lando to get a big dog it would be so amazing 🙏 if he gets a dachshund it WILL ruin my week

I am heavily on the king charles cavalier train myself. Which I don't think is likely.

Honestly I still think the funniest thing Lando could do is turn up in the paddock which full of “designer dogs” with the most rabid looking rescue dog he could find

I need him to show up with a dog that looks like an Ewok on meth and he will love that thing to death

I know we've moved on from the Lando as a dog dad discussion but I cannot get past my deep conviction that he'll get a terrier mix of some sort. A JRT or fox terrier mix possibly.

Aesthetically I love fox terriers cause their masks look so sleek so yes I can get behind this. Also we can always talk about Lando being a dog dad.

Realistically, I think he would get a dachshund like Max F (but he will get shit for copying Max V and Charles). Or other realistic choices for him given travel etc (so small dogs with a good temperament I think he’d find appealing) are a beagle or maybe a Boston terrier. Also pugs but I trust he’d do enough research to not get a pug. I do think there’s a real chance he’d want a corgi but god please do not let a corgi walk through the paddock. And maybe a poodle/poodle mix of some sort.

What EYE want him to get is a shi tzu or a King Charles cavalier. But I don’t think he would.

I can’t remember if in conversations about the landog we have ever said Bernese mountain dog but Carlando in bed with a giant Bernese sleeping between them is such a beautiful image to me

I think he’s a big dog guy if I go by his family dogs and saying he likes Irish setters. Unrealistic to have but I can see him trying to get a more medium sized dog over a purse one. So dumb but I hope he does not get a wiener dog because he will never hear the end of it and honestly I think he knows that too.

Medium sized dogs are the perfect size. He could go for an English setter as they are like 30% smaller than Irish (and less insane). Or a spaniel! I love spaniels, of all varieties.
