“How strange that the nature of life is change, yet the nature of human beings is to resist change. And how ironic that the difficult times we fear might ruin us are the very ones that can break us open and help us blossom into who we were meant to be.” I read that quote and it hit me between the eyes. As my daughter would say about a good meme, "I felt personally attacked" 🤣 Creativity has always coursed through my veins and I've known as long as I could remember my purpose is to encourage others though art. But, I always did it with a paint brush in my hand. I thought I found my "thing" as a face and body painter. For a long time I thought Photography was just for people who couldn't paint. Then I got a camera to photograph my body painting and found out how wrong I was. I fell in love with Photography. At first it was just for fun. I've for years I kept it selfishly for myself. As a professional artist I know that burn out can be real. I didn't want to share my photography too much because I was afraid it it wouldn't be fun anymore. Then 2020 hit and I had to give up my close contact art of painting people. Out of survival I turned to my camera. Now is the time to see if this is who I'm meant to be. I'm wondering if many more can relate looking back on last year. This is another view of the first Sunset of 2021!
