Family day out checking out the family farm and land up in the kaimai ranges. This post is over a hundred years old from an old cargo ship my ancestors had that was sunk by the British during the land wars. This site is where a hospital once stood to treat all soldiers and warriors who were wounded in the battles. Still in the area are their Graves and the house of Motai Pakaru, my great-great-great-grandfather.
