Started reading a Japanese book called また、同じ夢を見ていた (I’m having the same dreams again) in the queer book club I go to in an effort to start reading more as my current reading is limited to Twitter only at the moment really
We usually talk a bit about the book we’re reading to the others at the end of the session so I’m finding it quite odd reading in Japanese then explaining it in English and feeling like I can’t even string a sentence together as the words get mixed up and crossed in my head
i love participles…. we should use future participles more often. he placed books having to be read on the table <3
fun fact time i am like . 90% sure i started saying heart of hearts because i picked it up from you on the dash…. one thing about me is i will pick up words and phrases <3
omggggg im sooo honored........ i do the same thing, i started saying good looks because my history teacher says it... who are we if not a compilation of everyone we love...
latin will make your syntax all messed up. sometimes i don’t give any thought to word order and it makes me sound so crazy. i also speak sometimes exclusively in participles <3333
reading out loud in latin is like the most fun you could have in the word until you’re reading caesar’s de bellum gallico and you have trouble blending your C sounds into the rest of the word.
when i use the verb fudge in the context of dates, i don’t mean like on purpose lie about anything; i mean it as making a guess based on a whole bunch of convoluted evidence - it’s something i do all the time…
fun little quirks to like. your mannerisms and way of vocalizing are soooo fun and interesting….
