Day 8: Learning Persian
Listening
ManotoPlus: 55mins. I promise I am not sponsored by them. They just update regularly, talk about topics I know about, and are easily accessible over on YouTube. They, obviously, don’t have Eng subs but I guess it just makes this more sink or swim and pushes me out of my comfort zone. I was listening mostly half as bg noise until i heard the word for cat and had to look. I was not disappointed:)
Reading
Song lyrics: 15mins. Did a few stanzas(?) of Bi Man. It really just grew on me since I listened to it yesterday. And I could understand quite a few bits just from listening to it(about 800 times) so I thought it might make my reading more fluid. With the book I’m reading I feel like I have to step every 2 words just to figure out the short vowels. And then translate the word.
Studying
Mango languages: 20mins. Learned a new expression and some vocab. (سرم شلوغ است، متاسفانه) EasyPersianL37: 30-40mins. Reviewed how to form the simple future tense. Picked up some vocab. (نشستن، درخشیدن، ساختن، کشتن، آفتاب). Did the drills. Anki: 15mins. Reviewed my week1 deck.
