Sylvain has a slight, and I mean SLIGHT French accent. If you didn't know him you'd think he was just American. His voice isn't as deep as Wade's, it's kind of droning and snobby. But hearing him do a bad British accent is hilarious. When ever you piss him off or he gets flustered, especially with his parents, he switches to full native tongue(s) mode. It really just depends on what his brain switches to. Wade pisses him off and he glares and trash talks him in French, leaving wade going ??? Sylvain also learned Spanish JUST to insult wade. He can carry on a full conversation (albeit loud) with him.

Interesting linguistic phenomenon: when people talk about certain brands, they append "-'s" to the name, even if it doesn't have one.

e.g. Tesco/Tesco's, Maplin/Maplin's, Marks & Spencer/Marks & Spencer's

Related fact: Sainbury's, Waitrose, Morrisons already have the s sound at the end. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but it might be.

Just remembered I have a book on internet linguistics sat on my shelf upstairs that I've never read properly. It was published a few years ago now, so it's probably a bit outdated, but should be quite interesting nonetheless. I should add that to the long-term to-do list.
