You say in your tags on a recent post that there isn't a single Romance language that makes you promises. I must admit, with your interest in Russian, that Portuguese doesn't tick that box for you.

I'm more surprised that it's not tugging at me since I'm doing capoeira and trying to remember the names of the kicks. That's the sort of thing that supplanted Hindi in my affections. Maybe it's not guttural enough?
