hey i wanna get back into rping will someone play w/ me
just a general reminder: rp is supposed to be fun. we all use it as an outlet and a tool for writing - writing characters, ships, plots, anything. it's a hobby. it's for fun. there are times, for all of us (myself included), where it hasn't been fun. but please, don't take the fun out of it for other people. this is the internet - a place a lot of us come to escape the menial pieces of every day life.
i think it's really important to remember there is another person on the other side of that screen - you're interacting with other people, writing with other people, crying over ships with other people, fighting with other people, gossiping about other people, making other people feel bad.
this is a hobby. this is supposed to be fun.
i think tumblr has made being anonymous~ and attacking people a whole lot easier, but honestly, there's no need to take the fun out of this for someone else. there's nothing to gain.
i've dealt with my fair share of problems - people talking about me, people being rude, etc., and i know others have, too. i'm so beyond over all the middle school drama.
just let it be fun. that's all.
hello friends - just letting you know that over the next two weeks or so, i won't be around as much. i start my mfa program on friday, and until then, i'm working to get packed and get all my reading done. in terms of sites, i'll try to be on when i can but i need to remember (briefly) how to put schoolwork first. so if i owe you a reply or anything, i'll get to it as soon as i can. my askbox is always open if anyone needs to talk, and i'll be on skype. don't be a stranger! <3
