🔹first drawing of 2026!🔹 ive been struggling a lot with burnout and perfectionism thats been keeping me from creating anything at all lately, so i decided to go dig through my old art to find something to redraw! it was a huge boost to see how far ive come :] even digging up the original post itself was inspiring bc the original was from february 2015 and the first redraw was from december 2015! 💙

“It doesn’t need to be perfect, it doesn’t need to even be good, I just need to get it done.” Was the spirit of this project. After years of perfectionism, and making little to no art and writing at all, the idea for Your Green Palm in Mine hit me like a freight train and I somehow managed to produce all this. 
I never initially expected to actually finish it- much less make it as long as I did, but yet! Here it stands, completed, 3 times the length of its original draft, 9 months later. 
The community that has grown and flourished from this project has (damn I keep saying this) surpassed my wildest dreams! And so thank you! Thank you. For reading! For your support! For all of your love. I have always wanted to impact people, and I never thought I could, or would be able to, but here we are! Thousands of you! Thousands of people who have resonated with my story and the themes I wanted to express. You have all been amazing. 
This won’t be end of the rocks. I’ll keep posting about them here now and again, and one day, I may come back and make another serialized comic about them again. “Bracelets” is currently in pre production! But for now, I need to let them rest.
