"The Liberation School of Los Angeles is an autonomous collective of anti-capitalists (students, teachers, and working-class people) that holds ongoing classes and one-time events that connect us and inform our struggles against racist heteropatriarchal class society. Class topics have included: Gentrification, Proletarian Literature, Gardening, and Community Organizing. We’ve hosted open mics and creative writing seminars. We hope to host a summit of Southern California Cop Watch projects, a legal aid workshop and GED prep courses among other dream events and courses. We also aim to learn to share the labor of teaching, learning, providing childcare and Spanish language translation, and keeping our space organized and our project running smoothly."
