Press Release from Michelle Baharier
June 18 2016, 11.45pm outside Tate Modern bank side slop entrance. End near a bridge ………………
In 2006 CoolTan Arts the charity I founded set up the first ever midnight walk run by people with mental distress. The idea being to destigmatise mental distress and brake down the barriers people have towards people with mental distress.
The walks were called Largactly shuffle, and named after the anti-physciotic drug not a dinosaur, over the last nine years it has become one of London’s top ten walks as stated by Time Out. What an amazing legacy for myself Ari Henry and Liliana Dmitrovic. Part of my love of the midnight walk is my insomnia which many experience and physical excises can be a real cure for such a
But last year CoolTan Arts became taken over by a cabul, whom I believe do not have the charities best interest at heart. Any how to cut a long story short I have been booted out but is to come they cancelled the midnight walk in its tenth year!
