This begins the dev log of Gentle Ruin, a top down permadeath 3d pixel art game about surviving and adapting to change. Im messing around with the GameMaker engine and gonna see how far I can push its limits. A core feature involves surviving procedurally generated creatures, each with unique behaviors. Instead of learning about enemy behaviors, it'll be about learning how traits interact together. For example, some creatures will be larger to show how much health they have or more aggressive creatures will tend to have larger teeth.
