I have been drinking coffee since 12 years old, good and bad coffee alike, my first encounter with Specialty Coffee was ironic, the first Specialty coffee roaster in Iloilo which was in La Roasteria and it was just a 5 minute ride from my house, I was always fascinated by drinking coffee but not its intricacies like in Specialty coffee, meeting Master Roaster Bodi (owner of La Roasteria) changed my perception of coffee. Coffee is not a beverage to give you energy but a beverage of relaxation and tranquility, it changed my passion for coffee seeing all these new brewing methods. And Now because of Specialty Coffee I'm not just drinking it, but now filling my home shelves with brewing methods 😂 even got a Syphon for Christmas and most of all I wanna help in the awareness of Specialty coffee in the Philippines its impact to coffee farmers, roasters, Baristas.
