yep. an interview came out where he talks about filming the scorch trials and apparently some of it was filmed in a native burial ground. (if alarm bells aren’t already ringing they should be)
he starts off by talking about how they were told not to touch/take stuff, basically to respect the area and don’t be a dick, y'know?
but of course that’s too much too expect because he then immediately followed that by going ‘lol of course we took stuff lmao’ because OBVIOUSLY the idea of being respectful of another culture or belief system is completely ridiculous and why would you do that when you could steal their cultural artifacts to stick on a shelf somewhere lol it’s so hilarious to desecrate other people’s religious sites/places for honouring their dead!
and then, just to top it off, he blamed all accidents/sickness/injuries among the crew on a ~native curse~ sent in revenge or something because lol blatant stereotyping and treating other cultures as jokes, isn’t it hilarious -.-
