I agree, but maybe he was just nervous? It’s a new thing for him and maybe he just wasn’t sure or felt too nervous to...
I doubt he was nervous for a 10 minutes performance, I mean it’s always an event he has to attend and sing but i think he did way ‘worse’ when he was with 1D, he already performed in stages and events bigger than that for his whole career. I personally think it was his way to isolate himself and focus on the task when he’s not particularly into it (it happened at other events/times even during 1D years) and he goes through the motion with his performance. He is a professional and of course he always executes everything perfectly engages with the crowd etc, but still if you have seen him perform in videos or live or whatever more than once you can quickly tell the difference in the attitude especially with someone like harry that is easier to read than i dont know, liam for example, or niall, when they are on stage. But again it can be the angles of the LQ videos that often don’t show the whole performance.
