“Bling blang!“

Sadie Miller from my Connie Howlite Maheswaran AU. Basically, her role in the plot and her character development goes smoothly similar to the canon show... But when terraformer Gem Lapis Lazuli and her Topaz fusion guard invade Beach City, instead of taking Lars to space, they take Sadie.

So, Sadie and Connie travel together to Homeworld, end up at the trial, meet the Off-Colors, and... Yup, Sadie dies protecting everybody from the Shattering Robonoids.

And Connie revives her with her tears, making her a being similar to Eagle. She becomes a de-facto leader of the Off-Colors and steals a Homeworld ship with the intention of coming back to Earth with all of them together.

Rose didn’t resurrect Lion, Steven did

In the episode “Steven’s Lion”, Steven was sweating and crawling all over the ground, presumably leaving his sweat to soak into the sand as he did so. Seconds later we hear Lion’s roar for the first time. Now, we know for a fact that Lion lived in this desert 100+ years ago, so his corpse would probably be buried there beneath the sand by the time of the show’s events. If we assume that it was still there during the events of the episode (i.e. that he hadn’t previously been resurrected), then it would be reasonable to assume that Steven’s sweat might reach and resurrect him.

And then Lion, seeing Steven’s gem (since he did lift up his shirt to wipe the sweat away), and seeing him in the same location his mother frequently visited, picked up on the fact that this boy was related to Rose in some way, and so started following him. He also collected things from Pink Diamond’s old ship in his mane so he could bring them back to him, which why only the ‘Steven’ tape ended up being in there, despite the fact that Rose didn’t know if he was going to be named Steven or Nora. This is also why Rose never mentioned Lion to Pearl, she literally never knew him as anything more than a normal Lion she hung out with for a few years at most.

It also just makes more sense to me that resurrecting organic lifeforms is a Steven-specific power, Rose wasn’t organic, she couldn’t fuse with humans, and none of her healing abilities are ever shown to work on humans. Furthermore, there are only 2 trees in the Pink dimension, meaning that Lion and Lars are the only resurrected beings. If Rose had this power, and knew about it, she probably would’ve done more than just bring one Lion back to life, considering how much she values organic life. This also adds more to Steven’s unique value, as this means that he himself opens up the possibility for humans to be improved in this way, and isn’t just inheriting that potential from his mum.
