Wrestling with Language
The words we use to describe something can be pretty helpful in building imagery or a moment, but sometimes if we use "flowery" language it can cause a disconnect between the audience and the speaker/writer even if the words were used correctly.
It should be important to note that sometimes if you're using a big word just for the sake of using the word, you may not achieve the desired effect.
Since I am a wrestling fan I'll use two wrestlers as an example. Lars Sullivan (he's a creep ik but just stay with me) and Keith Lee.
