Remains / Restos I passed this structure on the drive to the museum yesterday and couldn’t let it go. I ended up turning around on the highway, finding the next crossover, parking on the shoulder, and walking back to it with my camera.
What drew me in wasn’t just the decay itself, but the feeling of exposure — the way the roof seemed peeled open to the sky after years of weather and neglect. It felt less like an abandoned building and more like something slowly surrendering while still refusing to disappear.
