Hello! Thank you kindly, and yes, we are all doing well, if halfway to exhausted most of the time. But that's twin life, yo. Eheh.

But yes, you are absolutely free to use Lasana in your work. All I really did was create it for love of Kalluzeb, and what better could I do than to let it blossom into the rest of our wonderful little fandom?

Our dear Mudkip has been kind enough to set up an online lexicon for the language, as I would be absolutely abysmal at maintaining something like that. They managed to create something coherent out of my rat's nest of notes. The lexicon isn't complete at the moment. I haven't really had time to port any of my latest notes into the collection since the twins were born. But if there's anything you need that isn't there, just ask me, and I'll see if it exists somewhere in my notes. And if not, we can see about growing the language a little bit further.

Hi, I'm kind of new to the Rebels Fandom (no I didn't watch all four seasons in three days and no I TOTALLY didn't start shipping Kalluzeb even before I saw the show and no OF COURSE I didn't originally wanna see the show just to see Rex...) anyways... I wanted to ask you what "little sister" or "sister" would mean in Lasana 😊

Sorry for the delayed response; I’ve kinda been away from tumblr the past couple days. So, in Lasana, ‘sister’ is saman and ‘little sister’ is saman’aki.

Do you have a word for father/dad/parent in Lasana? I've just been wondering what kalluzeb kids would call Zeb.

Oh, I definitely have that word. ‘Father’ in Lasana is Adan. The diminutive form for that is Dan-Dan, meaning either ‘Dada’ or ‘Daddy’.

Yes, in fact I do. ‘Be safe’ in Lasana is Sanat silan.

"I know. I know. And I've tried...so hard...not to go too far...but every time I look at him, I see you. I see how he enjoyed hurting you...and something inside of me just snaps. I can't stop it."

"Kal," Zeb started firmly before the other man could slip further away. "Do you know- what the word kal means in Lasana?"

"Well, of course I do. It means...it...means...oh," he said softly, voice falling away as understanding washed across his face. The name Zeb had called him from the very first...the central part of Arkalia's name.

"Kal," Zeb said again, laying a hand over his Tinsana's beating heart. "Treasure. Ni kal...my treasure. Ni kali...my treasures. Ni ashkerra...ze safken ni sashahn," he declared before drawing his partner into a new kiss. Deeper this time. A promise to serve as an anchor, a harbor in any storm, a light in any darkness.

I'm here. I'll always be here. Always come back to me.

Alex seemed almost to sigh into the kiss, to sink into him and let his tensions go free. When they separated this time, Alex slowly sat up, the blanket still draped loosely around his shoulders.

"I honestly have no idea what I would do without you."

"Let's not find out, yeah? But...there is one more thing I wanna ask you before we dive into this plan of yours," he said as he sat up, careful not to jostle Alex from his lap. Suddenly fearful that this idea of his was crazy and much too sudden, he reached forward to cup his lover's face in his hand one last time...in case this was poorly received.

"Yes?" Alex pressed him, suddenly looking nervous.

"Marry me?"

Ril San Zash - A Kalluzeb Song

All right, so my Day 3 contribution for Kalluzeb Appreciation Week is a little different, in that it is neither art nor writing. It’s a song.

Back when KAW was first announced, I had thought it possible to perhaps finish The Colder the Winter up in time to serve as a theme for Adoption, but...well...then the world ended and other such things and I got caught up working on the other projects for this week. So what I opted to do instead was something I’ve been meaning to do.

I recorded my lyrics in Lasana for the song ‘There Is Life’ as it would be sung in the story. I know a few of you have been wanting to hear this for awhile now, so I decided to try my hand at it. I do apologize for the subpar recording quality. My knowledge of music recording is...minimal at best. Hopefully you’ll just enjoy being able to hear a whole song in Lasana. Enjoy!

1) Hey! First of all, just wanted to say that I absolutely love all of your Kalluzeb fics. super recently got into CW/rebels and even more recently got into Kalluzeb, and your fics are my favs. Second: would it be okay if I use some lasana for a (some) fic(s) that I'm writing? I SO love that you have come up with this language that's being used all over the place. SO cool to see that continuity in this little community. And if I do, is it okay if I make up some vocab to fill gaps? 1/tbc

Oh, good gods, I left you hanging for nearly a week. M'dear, I am so sorry. Welcome to the fandom! We always love meeting new people. :D And I am so very happy you've been enjoying my fic. And yes, you can definitely use Lasana in your own fics. I've pretty much given the fandom standing permission to use it, as it gives me the opportunity to grow the language further. As far as filling in vocab goes, though, I would ask that you check in with me if you have ideas, since you might not know what I have tucked away in my tangled web of notes. How we typically do this is folks'll message me with what they want to say and I'll work out a translation if any of the words don't exist yet, which happens fairly often, so the language is growing all the time.

And do let me know if you ever remember what that second part was. I'd love to know. Also...am I in the presence of someone who has actually studied linguistics? Cuz, well, confession time, I never have. This is all purely geek brain and love of language on my part. Eheh.
