Star Wars 款光劍軍刀快將現身戰場!

根據英國媒體報導，美國空軍和 Energetic Materials & Products 公司正在共同研製一款全新的「軍刀」，它最特別之處就是外形和星球大戰電影入面的激光劍非常相似，單是賣相相信已經可以嚇得下人!

這款未來軍刀外形和 Star Wars 的激光劍相似，長度約 33cm，重量約為 0.5kg，該項目主管 Stephaine Johnson 指出它運合了物理和化學原理運作，啟動後激光能夠發出超過 4000 華氏溫度，當接觸鋼筋後會達到熔化狀態，因忘可以輕鬆切斷半英寸的鋼筋! 目前這款產品尚在研究階段，不過研發人員已表明這款軍刀並不會應用在戰鬥中，而是負責在戰場中進行切割障礙物之類的輔助任務。

You know that gif from Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy with the laser knife cutting the bread, am I the only person who finds it such a fucking terrible invention because now the knife has toasted the actual loaf of bread then what are you going to do? What? Pull out a normal knife and cut that bit of shitty toasty bread when you want to make a freaking sandwich! Like, I don't even know why it pisses me off so much but it does.
