Ford Laser Lynx (KJ), October 1994-December 1996. The Lynx was the three-door hatch variant in the new fully-imported KJ Laser range of late 1994. Distinctive "Kamm-back" styling was paired with four-wheel disc brakes and Mazda's BP twin-cam 1.8 litre four-pot, good for around 92kW or so. The styling proved a bit too "out there", particularly when this power plant was also available in the much more conventionally-styled sedan and 5-door hatch. The Lynx was dropped for the December 1996 KL (or KJ2) update. A keen eye will spot the occasional Lynx still prowling the streets today. #ford #fordlaser #laserlynx #kjlaser #fazda #mazdabp
