After the WCW World Tag Team Championship was vacated, a battle royale was held to determine new champions.

Mark Jindrak and Sean O'Haire eliminated 3 Count (Evan Karagias, Shane Helms and Shannon Moore) and The Yung Dragons (Jamie-San and Kaz Hayashi).

The Harris Brothers and The Misfits in Action (Corporal Cajun, Lt. Loco and Sgt. AWOL) were eliminated after Kronik interrupted the match.

In the end, thanks to interference from Disco Inferno, Jindrak and O'Haire eliminated Mysterio and Juventud to win the WCW World Tag Team Championship for the first time. (WCW Nitro 9/25/2000)

The WCW World Tag Team Championship changed hands twice in one night, as The Misfits in Action members Lieutenant Loco and Corporal Cajun defeated The Natural Born Thriller members Mark Jindrak and Sean O'Haire to win the titles. After the match, commissioner and fellow Natural Born Thrillers member Mike Sanders granted the former champions their rematch, allowing Jindrak and O'Haire to win back the titles for a second time.
