What's your favourite lashton moments?
Oh my gosh there are so many. There’s their honeymoon in Sweden (that’s what hemmoangel and I call it at least) where they wrote “More” “Meet you There” and “Midnight.” (Which are all about relationships that don’t have the right timing...🤭)
And Ashton saying Luke’s innocence needs to b protected when he was painting their symbols in London earlier in the year still makes my heart go 💗🦋💗🦋💗🦋💗🦋.
The way Ashton CONSTANTLY hypes Luke. I mean he does the same thing to the others but in a different way, there’s like a deep caring between those two.
Wait. I made a top 5 list so I keep this concise:
5) them living together in early 2017 and nursing each other back into a better mental state.
4) every time they touch each other during interviews. Like Ashton will put his arm around Luke. Luke will put his hand on Ashton’s knee sometimes—or his neck just to annoy Ashton. They practically mirror each other all the time. An extension of that is that Luke will copy almost everything Ashton does and it’s so cute. And he does it typically while he’s laughing at it, but sometimes he’s just adding a dramatic flare and it’s the cutest thing ever. I’m soft.
3) the way they tease each other and argue like they’re married or something. It will be in the background or something and it’s never agressive, just like playful bickering.
2) the fondness of which they tell the story of how they met. And I know they’ve only told it a few times, but it’s so cute. Cause wow. Like Ashton was just like “hey, I like your glasses, man, don’t worry about it.” And I see a 15 year old Luke falling in love. I’m soft again.
1) you think I’m gonna forget the infamous performance of “Teenage Dream” where Ashton’s on guitar? Not on your life, pal. That moment—and I think we all know the moment I’m talking about—I’ve watched and analyzed many times and, it’s so natural for them to be that close. (Also when I slowed it down to .5x speed I read his lips and he says what I can only assume is “I’m gonna go home and fuck you.” So if you decide to watch it, keep on the look out for that gem.)
