For lashtoned, I saw you wanted this but I wrote it rlly fast so it's not the best, but here ya go! Based off flower crown!Luke
"Ya know what would be cute?"
"Penguins dressed in tuxedos?"
Luke glances up from his phone to find said flower crown in Ashton's big hands. He's twirling it around and smiling at Luke with a mischievous grin, which could only mean that he's got another 'clever' idea that may or may not be a good one.
"Where'd you even find that?" Luke asks, a little warily.
Ashton only shrugs. "Over there somewhere, but that's not important. You should put it on, I bet you'd look really cute in it."
Maybe Luke blushes a little at the compliment. Just a little. He turns his gaze from Ashton and pretends to examine his phone again, a small grin on his face.
"Biased. You think I look cute in everything," he mutters.
"That's true," Ashton says, humming. "But, only 'cause you do look cute in everything."
Before Luke can argue with that, he feels something being placed on his head and glances up to find the crown resting against his forehead. Of course he should've seen that coming, but whatever.
"Ashton," he whines. "I don't wanna wear this... flower crowns are cute, not punk rock."
"Who says they can't be both?"
"The government," Luke answers seriously.
Ashton giggles, reaching up to adjust the angle of the crown. "This calls for a revolution, then. Punk rockers and flower crowns shall be one!"
This whole thing was silly, too silly, but Luke laughs anyway. If he was being honest, he didn't mind the flower crown at all. They were bored and just having fun, anyway. He wishes that there was a mirror around, so he'd be able to see how he looked.
"Do I look cute?" he asks, and maybe it's pointless since he knows what Ashton will say.
Of course, Ashton nods. "Cute and punk rock... stand over there, I wanna take a picture of ya."
Luke obeys without question. However, when Ashton has his phone raised and ready to take the picture, Luke isn't really sure how he should pose for it. Should he go for something cute? Should he go for something punk-ish? Is it even possible to look punk while wearing a flower crown, for god's sake?
"Just stick out your tongue or something!" Ashton suggests with a laugh, once he notices the conflicting expression on Luke's face.
Well, that's better than nothing. So Luke does just that. After the picture has been taken, Ashton shows it to him and Luke frowns a little. His eyes are wide in the picture and he looks more like a confused bunny or something, especially with his protruding front teeth. It's kind of funny, actually.
"Send that to me, I wanna tweet it," he says. When he receives the text, he smiles and adds, "Now you should put it on and I'll take a pic, then we can match."
When Luke reaches up to undo Ashton's bandana and replace it with the flower crown, Ashton sidesteps from his hand and evades the attempt. Of course Luke should've seen this coming, too. But what could he say, he was rather gullible sometimes.
"No way," Ashton protests. "I wouldn't look nearly as cute in that. But, 'least now I can use yours as a lock screen!"
Seriously? What a sneaky bastard.
"Delete it," Luke demands, but Ashton was already making his escape.
"Nope!" Ashton shouts over his shoulder, giggling when Luke begins to chase after him.
It's no use, Luke knows; that picture obviously wouldn't be the first nor the last embarrassing one of himself that Ashton has saved to his phone. But, Luke decides that he doesn't really care—especially once he finally catches Ashton and they fall to the floor, limbs entangled and the two of them laughing breathlessly.
He also decides that maybe it's worth it when Ashton suddenly leans up and kisses him softly, that same grin still plastered on his face when he pulls away. Luke smiles back because he can't really help it.
And yeah, it's definitely worth it.
