Last Address is a public memorial project designed to perpetuate the memory of innocent people who died as a result of political repression committed by the Soviet regime. Its principle is "One name, one life, one sign." As part of the project, a small, palm-sized, minimalist rectangular metal memorial plaque is installed on the house that served as the last living address of a victim of state brutality. It lists the murdered person's name, year of birth, profession, dates of arrest, death, and year of rehabilitation. On the left side of the plaque is a square hole, reminiscent of the missing photograph
