"Last bus to polaris"

In the middle of Ramon crater there is a fire range for IAF aircraft, during the weekends there is no training so I went there to take some photos of the old buses that uses as target for the pilot training, this is one of them, this old bus

Well, it’s done. Took me some hours, but it’s done. I got kind of super ambitious with the lighting. I’ve got more than one light source, and I’ve never done anything like that before. I’ve never even lit a character from behind before.

On another note, straight edges are powerful fucking instruments, but I need to get a ruler. I was using an index card.

I actually like how this one turned out. I do. The perspective turned out really nice, and the shading actually makes a little bit of sense.

Let’s not worry about the issues of setting here. Let’s set aside the fact that this road clearly only services one way traffic, that there’s only a sidewalk on one side of the road, that there’s a sidewalk at all really, and also that Liz here can’t hardly expect to get a ride on a bus that’s out of service. Can she?

The shtick with this character, by the way, is that she’s got this phial of blue powder she carries with her which, upon ingestion, allows her to transform into a half-dragon. I guess that’s cool. I decided I’d make her be able to summon fire because that’d be kick-ass. I hope the owner doesn’t think that’s too far out of bounds.
