Meet Brother Neophite Librarian Mordred, from Last Hope Chapter.

This young novice Librarian began his specialization very late. He was once a Black Templar, but during an assault far too close to Dreamcatcher artifacts, his latent psychic powers awakened—very late, and in a wild, uncontrolled manner.

Last Hope arrived at just the right moment, placing themselves between the Black Templars and Mordred in an attempt to prevent his immediate execution. Although Mikael tried to bring the situation to a peaceful resolution, it ultimately ended in a brief confrontation, forcing Last Hope to fall back and retreat with a severely wounded Mordred, who had come dangerously close to being executed by his own brothers.

It has taken him a long time to accept his condition, and even now, he feels a deep sense of self-loathing. He is hostile towards many, still blinded by a rigid belief in how things should be done, and often finds himself at odds with his new brothers... but little by little, he will come around. Or so we hope.

Although he is still not entirely comfortable with his new situation, he is a very diligent man. He strives to learn everything he can in order to maintain a firm grip over his newfound abilities and wield them in service of the Imperium.
