Your words are all that matter
Dearest Father,
Thank you for the last service of the year 2012, I am really greatly blessed by Pastor Bobby and Pastor Aries's preaching. Amazing pastors we have in CHC and I am so glad and proud that I am part of this big CHC family and stand firm in Christ despite the uproar no long after I accepted Christ.
I confess that I have lived almost the whole of 2012 comparing myself with other people's highlights in their lives, their achievements, their statuses, their results, their backgrounds, their boyfriends. Instead of really counting the blessings God has given me and the goodness I have.
How I can compare my hardship and weaknesses with other people's successes and strengths? Like using an egg to hit against a rock. Ty Pst Bobby for his words.
I really thank God that He has strengthened me throughout the whole of this year, bringing me from glory to glory.

Father, I pray that you will continue to open my mind and eyes to help me see You more clearly and the path You wanna me to follow. Father, I also pray that You will continue to guard my heart from any relationship temptations and trust in You but not man for You are my greatest lover. <3 Father, I also pray that You will anoint me with the holy spirit to reach out to the needy, the weak and the poor that I may become the light and salt for You. Father, I also pray for ample rest and sleep for the coming year that I am seek You as a hiding place, a place to rest and lift up all my burdens to you. Thank you Father in advance for all your love and grace because I believe that You will fulfill all my needs abundantly.
Father, I also pray for tmr's fellowship with my mum and cousin Yi Zhen. Father, I pray that I am able to whoop up a good meal for them and bless them with home cooked food full of love. Father, I pray for this wonderful cousin of mine, whom has suffered so much, but still having such a positive and hopeful attitude, always looking out for her brother and mum. Father, I pray that You will keep on taking care of this lil daughter of yours, let her be strong and filled with hope when facing mountains of her life, and most importantly touched her heart and let her know that she is not alone, but God is always with her. Father, I also pray for her whole family, and lift her brother and mum to Your hands, that healing will come upon this household, that they may have a breakthrough in finances and health, and find peace and joy in their home.
Father, I also pray for the countdown tonight. Father, I pray that let the fellowship between everyone that is attending the event at Zonghan's house be so bonded and strengthened that we may build new and last relationships for the years to come. Father, I also pray for open doors in relationships, if it is Your will, Father, I pray that there will be chance for Zonghan and Zhenmei, to find themselves a relationship more than friends. Father, I also pray for Hong Sheng, that he may also join us in this fellowship. Father, I pray for open doors for us to introduce the church people to him and therefore open doors to bring salvation to him. Father, I also pray for our relationship and I pray that I will stay firm and only follow your signs towards whatever path you have planned for us. Father, I thank you for these amazing friends in my life.
Father I pray that
Create in me a pure heart, O God,and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
Psalms 51:10-12
You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
Psalms 51:16-17
Thank you Lord for your words and your anointing today that I am able to feel your presence with me and tide me through my fasting day today. Father, I commit all my prayers to you and I believe that the healings and miracles will come. Thank you for working all these miracles and blessings in my life.
In Jesus's precious name, Amen.
Excerpt: Tonight is my last service, only because Le Bernardin has for years been closed on the last day of the year. With the New Year's Eve celebrations closing streets in and around Times Square, the restaurant is nearly impossible to get to. Midway through dinner, in between the busy seatings, we begin to prepare the kitchen for a rare two-day shutdown. It's only now that all of the lasts begin to sink in: the last birthday cake I decorate, the last produce order I call in, the last time I print off and fill in the prep list for Walter and Jesus. There is still too much to distract me from feeling too sentimental about things. I came close to getting choked up an hour ago, when I noticed Eric, who left the city earlier for a well-deserved break after the season, had sent me a congratulatory text message, wishing me a happy service.
