Happy New Year all!

They say the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. Well I know that feeling. Last night I headed downstairs to get something and caught my dads... yes, my dads, making out. So I decided to be a nice daughter and took off for the night, leaving them to.. well who knows what. Part of me hopes dad'll be doing the walk of shame this morning.

I'm probably the only person who's planning on stay home on New Years Eve. A nice bath, then bed with Marshmallow and a mug of hot chocolate. No awkward moments or freaking out about who to, or not to, kiss when the ball drops.

My head feels heavy, my mouth feels like I've been eating cotton balls and my skin is dryer than the Sahara.

I'm so thankful my dad listened to me and locked the front door and didn't let anyone int he house last night. I'm starting to feel like I have a second Jacob in my life.. maybe a restraining order will work?

No Christmas carols, no ugly tree, no annoying family dinners, or matching sweaters that are two sizes too small -- just Mr Puss, Chinese food, and myself, as far as Christmas' go this one's practically a dream.

Mom's got the buffet going all day, Cammie and her fianceé are over, and dad even has the day off work. It's a very merry Christmas, indeed. Hope you're all having a good day, and I hope your dog doesn't eat half of your plate like mine did.
