What would you personally consider the best Mark Millar comics?
The very very best is Old man Logan. One day all of the worlds supervillains got together and killed nearly all of the good guys. 50 years later old man logan lives with his family in a wee shack it what is now known as Hulkland. He hasn’t popped his claws in 50 years because somke bad shit happened (even though you kinda know what is going top happen it still doesn’t stop it being an epic comic book moment when what happens happens). Anyway! Hawkeye is blind and needs to get across the country so him and logan set off. Shit happens etc etc. READ IT!
Then Red Son. Red Son is a what if comic.. What if instead of Kansas the ship came down in the Soviet Union and superman was raised there? it also has appearances by several other dc characters.
And then you’ve got The Ultimates 1-2. It was a more adult reimagining of The Avengers. They’re blockbuster comcis filled with set pieces and witty banter.
And one of my fave comics of the last few years STARLIGHT. It’s an unofficial sequel to Flash Gordon. You would never guess it was a Mark Millar comic. Not gonna lie.. there was a manly tear shed at the end.
ALSO!
The Authority 13-29
Enemy of the State
Civil War
1985
Kick-Ass (kick-ass2-3 and hit-girl are okay)
Superior
Supercrooks
Secret Service (Kingsman is based on this)
His Fantastic Four and Ultimate Fantastic Four stuff is good as well.
but
under no circumstances read The Unfunnies. I swear this was him trying to see what he could get away with for a laugh.
