she sticks out like a sore thumb ; dolce heels costing more than dancers earn in a night, cocktail dress too sophisticated for a night at silhouette’s . . . and then of course it’s the inherent smugness and aura of arrogance which she exudes, making an attire the least of her worries. she’d learned of him through word of mouth, and about the services offered likewise. the vipers had a reputation, and one she suspected they’d uphold . . . and live up to in every way possible. five foot two, with an extra inch given by t-straps, the girl scours the crowd. tall, tattooed, and handsome : that’s the way he’d been described by a working girl down at sunny daze trailer park. tall, tattooed, and handsome . . . and spotted. although seated, scout was certain the right man had been found. picked out of a crowd with the help of a slurred description of his tattoos, and a plan is concocted and put into action within moments. she awaits, until entourage is left behind and a bar is approached, cornering the man whilst he’s without his crew of ghouls. “ hi there, ” there’s an innate softness to the voice which she adapts, one that a teenager had adopted throughout the years, one specifically targeted towards those older. she was flirting, alright, in the midst of booming music and a loud audience. but the facade wasn’t one suited for silhouette’s, and it’s far too late to retract now. here’s to hoping the stranger had a soft spot for the vulnerable. “ feel like buying a girl a drink ? ” / @lastpoets
