personal notes / ramblings under cut :3

this is my first palm sunday and it was honestly so beautiful and thought provoking. did i tear up during the passion reading stuff? that’s between me and god !!! ok !! i’ve always been emotional about the passion. since i was a wee lad. and the procession !! so fun. our priest was saying we shouldn’t be so solemn about it, he said he wished we could do it skipping, lmao. i was overjoyed. i was like yay procession.

furthermore our sermon was on taking collective responsibility for the horrors in the world, especially the horrors perpetrated by the us and thinking about how we can take that responsibility. how without that responsibility our salvation means nothing. and how it’s not meant to shame us but just keep us more in check. idk i’m paraphrasing badly. but it was beautiful.
